Description:
Scene appropriated from Rogier van der Weyden's 1435 painting "The Descent from the Cross." A bearded old man holds a swooning body (Christ in van der Weyden) with all features besides the loincloth whited-out. Across the torso, various foods (Del Monte Golden Corn, pear, tomato-asparagus salad, fish fillet with tomatoes and onion, wine, cherries, et al.). Across the top, inscribed: "Ro Go Pa G / Roberto Rossellini Jean-Luc Godard Pier Paolo Pasolini Ugo Gregorenti." Text at bottom: "Italsky film. Kriticky pohled do zivota problemu dnesni doby."
