Description:
Length of printed cotton with an irregular grid of Polynesian motifs including a tree house and a group of thatched-roof huts. Additional motifs are: palm trees, seashells, turtles, fish, birds, and lizards; an archer; three men in a canoe; a man carrying bunches of fruit; masks; and a variety of patterns similar to those used on tapa (beaten bark cloth), in shades of brown, light blue, pink and yellow on an off-white ground.
