Max, the dog, originally introduced in Maira Kalman's "Hey Willy, See the Pyramids," now lives in New York City. Picasso, among other twentieth century modern artists, is a source of influence apparent in the brightly colored illustrations. The Eiffel Tower (Paris) and the Guggenheim Museum (New York) are two of the shapes formed by the text.
