Description:
Design for bed in either Macassar ebony and black lacquer or white sycamore, curly maple, or “some light wood” for Valentine-Seaver Company/Kroehler Manufacturing Company. At upper right, perspective shows made bed with planar head- and footboards; the latter’s sides curve inward while the former is flat. Object’s four corners rest on rectangular feet: curved at front, straight at rear. Below, front and broken side elevations provide dimensions. Inscribed with K. No. 1020 and Deskey No. 7236. Margins ruled in graphite.
