Description:
Presentation drawing of exterior perspective design for Borden Company's Elsie's Restaurant. Single-story, double-height magenta structure with flat yellow roof whose wide eaves slope acutely downward. Six horizontal beams span the structure's width, terminating in slender vertical light posts topped by spherical fixtures. Façade is glass and flagstone. Carport over entry portal with flat roof and upward-angled eaves inverts the structure of the main roof. A horizontal rust-colored element underlines a bi-chrome pentagonal “Elsie’s” sign before bending vertically upward through the carport, culminating in a spade-shaped sign bearing Bordon’s brand mascot Elsie and punctuated by a yellow daisy. Landscape is tropical with palm trees and succulents. A third Elsie’s sign appears in the landscape at lower right.
