Description:
Design for desk for manufacture by Valentine-Seaver/Kroehler. At upper right, perspective shows symmetrical, rectilinear pedestal desk with top and sides in dark material (possibly lacquer or Macassar ebony) and drawer fronts in lighter, vertically striated wood. On either side, stack of three drawers; top drawers are shallow and in plane with central drawer. All accessed by cylindrical pulls. Also shown in plan and front and side elevation. Inscribed with Kroehler No. 1020 and Deskey No. 7294.
