Description:
Design for a painted porcelain plate, probably for the Service Agronomique. Scene in a wine cellar. A man, right foreground, appears to be filling a barrel from a large vat of wine in the right middleground. He then passes the barrel along to workers who store the barrels in a connecting room viewed through a door in the right background.
