Description:
Oblong, curves and counter-curves around perimeter, middle of sides cinched, featuring raised decoration of Washington Monument, inscribed below "Washington Monument, Washington, D.C.", all surrounded by long, sinuous, stem-like lines at edges and flowers at corners. Reverse features horizontal decoration of the Capitol, inscribed below "The Capitol, Washington, D.C.", surrounded by same decoration as front. Lid hinged on side. Striker on bottom.
