Description:
Fragment of velvet with rows of offset circles in creamy off-white on a deep red velvet pile ground. Each circle contains a medallion near its base, encircled by flowering hyacinth branches. Each medallion contains a pearl near its base, encircled by a carnation and tulip on a vine. Trefoil patterns in the interstices. A border at the bottom shows carnations (upside down) enclosed in shield-shaped tabs. In red, off-white and gold with touches of pale green.
