Description:
Plate 8, VI of the book, Très Admirable Bestiaire Fantastique (Very Admirable Fantastic Bestiary). Figure of a grotesque goose in surrealist style, its feathers composed of strips of fur and a human foot in the place of its head. At its feet lies a Victorian-style lace-up boot that ends in the form of a goose's head with open beak, echoing the foot form above. Landscape indicated by a curving shaded line in the background. A crab-like animal hybrid creeps over this horizon line and is partially in view. Composition contained within a black rectangular frame.
