Description:
Fans of ostrich plumes emerging behind sunburst of jewels, over which are drapery swags rendered in flock; this bound by a string of pearls and emeralds. Swags are caught up with jewelled medallion from which is pendant a giant pearl, and over this, a cluster of jewels. Tassels hang below this. Along the edge, egg and dart banding. On the verso, an imprint of a simple striped pattern with sprigs in widely-spaced grid, the paper hung with this frieze.
