Description:
Rectangular box covered with black leather (now in crazed condition), with hinged lid, iron lock with patterned brass escutcheon, leather handle (center top), flaps of leather extending from front and side edges of top. Leather attached by rows of round-headed brass tacks, patterns of tacks on top. Lined with printed fabric, small-patterened red, white, black ground. Leather hinge, interior.
