Description:
Stage design for Sir John Gielgud’s production of "Queen of Scots," a play by Gordon Daviot (also known as Elizabeth Mackintosh) performed at the New Theater in London. Two figures approach an arch leading to a stairway at stage right, lit by a single torch hanging from the wall, stage right of the arch. Below: "Act 2 Scene 2"
