Description:
Study for a book cover for the Pantheon edition of "Religion and The Soul in Jung's Psychotherapy," by Alfred Schaer. Abstract geometric composition on a gray ground with a large black rectangle at top, facing downwards, and a smaller white triangle at bottom, pointing upwards. A white outline of a quadrilateral connects the two shapes and cuts into each triangle’s point. Where the quadrilateral and the triangles overlap, the colors are reversed. Surrounding the composition, rectangular framing lines.
