Description:
Round plate decorated with the design of a large abstract fish whose eye is centered in the well. Engobe decoration on red clay. First coat white, over this the fish - a flat black shape with fin characteristics made by wide incised lines exposing clay. Eye is a greenish circle surrounding a yellow pupil with a blue iris. Underside: colors and order of application the same a stop. A black ribgon one-half the radius descriibes the rim of a wheel. Five white cartouches in this plane, four sun-faces motifs and one inscribed: "16.4.5F."
