Description:
Nine large samples showing stages in the roller printing of polychrome fabric. Final stage shows grey ground with scattered design of branches and screens in shades of green and grey, with gold. Inked onto each sample is the number of rollers used. Stamped on selvage "A Waverly Bonded Fabric, Japonica".
