Description:
Pleated fan. Black glazed paper leaf painted with gouache. Obverse: a Chinoiserie scene of figures in a garden; gilded swags. Reverse: black ground with 3 flower sprays. Sticks of carved, incised, pierced and painted ivory showing figures and scrolls. Glass stone at the rivet.
