Description:
Length of cream cotton, composed of two pieces stitched lengthwise, copperplate printed in brown. Six satirical scenes in a military encampment: soldier being thrown from his horse, a woman in a large bonnet being escorted into the camp. etc. On a barn are the initials A.D., and on the end of a drum the words Royal Artillery G. 111. Based on satirical engravings by Henry Bunbury (1750 - 1811).
