Description:
Reproductions of old English wallpaper bearing stamp tax of George III. Printed by Nancy McClelland and used in restoration of George Washington's home at Mount Vernon, Virginia, in the "Yellow Bedroom." The design is symmetrical. A slender curving vine with flowers winds around irregular medallions, the centers of which have crossing diagonal lines forming diamond-shaped parallelograms. In the center of each is a floral motif resembling a leopard spot.
