Description:
An open garden pavilion with domed roof. Vines grow about the slender columns. Entered by means of elaborate arrangement of steps and bridges. The latter of Gothic architecture. A balloon ascension is shown over the distant city. Probably has some connection with balloon invention of Montgolfier brothers in 1783. Scene is fanciful and imaginary. Original paper was in a house in Manchester, New Hampshire, where Mrs. Lars Anderson was born. Printed on margin: "The Cevera, 5481."
