Description:
Nativity scene showing the infant Christ child reclining on hay at center, glowing with light, surrounded by Joseph and the Virgin Mary. Three additional figures of shepherds kneel in adoration, each cast in dramatic shadow. Farm animals (cows and dogs) surround the figures. In the sky above, groups of putti holding banners in the clouds. Squared for enlargement in black chalk.
