Description:
A view of a trompe l’oeil wall painting in a salon in the chateau of St Cloud, depicting a round classical temple with Corinthian columns and the statue of the goddess Flora on a plinth in the center. Nymphs dance and sit around the statue with putti flying above holding a festoon of leaves. The plate is titled with a short description of the painting.
