Description:
An ornament print with a central design for a medallion or the lid of a circular watchcase depicting a New Testament Biblical scene with Mary, baby Jesus and an Angel in a landscape with winged putti climbing a palm tree to the left. The figures are in a landscape with buildings in the far background, and a figure on a donkey. The scene is most likely taken from the Flight into Egypt. The roundel is flanked by two floral designs. The plate is numbered and signed.
