Description:
An ornament print with a central design for a medallion or the lid of a circular watchcase depicting the New Testament Biblical scene of the Flight into Egypt with Mary riding a donkey while holding the baby Jesus, Joseph to the left, holding the reins and a stick. To the right a winged angel. Trees and clouds in the background. The roundel is flanked by four floral designs, the lower two are in glass vases. The plate is numbered and signed.
