Description:
Design for a stove heater decorated with neoclassical motifs in the form of a pedestal sculpted in relief with griffins in the corners, and a flaming snake handled vase on the center, with running pattern moldings of fluting, egg, leaves, and laurel leaves tied with ribbon. The plan view is included below the design. The plate is signed and hand colored in watercolor.
