Description:
An interior wall elevation with a chimney piece and overmantel mirror in the center, flanked by paneling (boiseries) and large mirrors with over mirror frames, decorated with rococo motifs and ornament including c-scrolls, s-scrolls, shells, cartouches, masks (mascarons), leafy sprigs, scrolling leaves (rinceaux), fleurons, vases, and scrolling acanthus leaves. The over mirror frames are in the shape of cartouches with small, lidded vases on brackets on either side. The frieze of the entablature has corbels and a diaper pattern. A plan view below the chimney piece to illustrate the shape of the mantel from above.
