Description:
A plate from a series of designs for console table legs, consoles for vases and wall brackets. A blank rectangle lower center, with a design for console table legs above ornamented with fleuron, c-and-scrolls, gadroon, acanthus leaves, and floral motifs, a central cartouche with a vase of flowers and dragons intertwined in both legs, with the legs terminating in hoofs. Lower left: a console for a vase, decorated with winged putti holding up the outlined vase on a stand ornamented with rococo motifs. Lower right: a design for a wall bracket ornamented with fluting, fleurons, c-and-s-scrolls, and shell motifs, supporting three outlined vases. The background is shaded with lines.
