Description:
Plate from a series of seven ceiling designs, showing half of an ornately decorated ceiling cornice with grotesque motifs, sculpted female figures, roundels, putti, vases, masks, friezes, acanthus leaves, laurel leaves, fretwork, gadrooning, cartouches, c-and s-scrolls, coffering, and fleurons. The ceiling itself is blank. The plate is signed.
