Description:
Design for a lid (view from above) for a round powder box (part of a toilet service), decorated with three putti in the center, with festoons of flowers, bunches of wheat, and a bird, encircled by a frieze of scrolling leaves (rinceaux), rosettes, putti embracing, and fleurons. The plate is titled, numbered, and signed.
