Description:
Plate 2 of a series of 6 numbered plates. Symmetrically-designed panel with grotesques. At lower center, a mask, with ribbons at its eyes connecting it to the body of a herm at center; the figure's tail forms two cartouches, upon which hang a leopard and lion. Circular medallion at upper center, above which two putti kiss. Ornamental decorations include festoons of flowers.
