Description:
Design for a cartouche with an upper and lower compartment. The upper compartment contains a scene of a man and a woman in a landscape, sitting under a tent, with the man playing a horn. The cartouche is comprised of ornament motifs including trelliswork, terms, rinceaux, music trophies, dragons, vines, thyrses, a flower bouquet, and scrolls. The plate is signed and numbered.
