Description:
Designs for two cartouches, each containing within it landscape scenes. The cartouches are comprised of diverse elements, including mascaron, rinceaux, attributes of gardening, grapes, dragons, and flowers. The border of the lower cartouche, partly composed of trellis, is inspired by a print of Gabriel Huquier (see Egger/Berliner 1296).
