Description:
Folio 5, plate 5 of a series of 7. Design for a fountain. Rocaille fountain design with two tritons and a nymph reclining on a grotesque face of a sea monster. The figures support a shell, upon which are two reclining putti. The uppermost putti is stretched over a large open vase, from which the water pours. Surrounding garden details.
