Description:
Title page before lettering. The empty text space is set within an architectural frame. The pediment is topped with sphinxes and a pinecone finial, and has at its peak an empty cartouche over which a lion emerges from a niche. Herms on either side support the text plate. The plate is signed. The lettered version of this plate is 1921-6-216-2.
