Description:
On the recto, the title is printed in the center of the plate, surrounded by winged putti borne upon clouds. At the top, the clouds terminate in an architectural ledge with plants, flowers, and garlands, and on which rests more putti who also hold up a shield adorned with a massive ship and fleurs-de-lis. The verso of the page provides a description of the frontispiece (1921-6-207-2). The verso is signed at lower right with the name of the calligrapher.
