Description:
Entryway and elevation of the temporary structure set up on the Place de l'Estrapade for the celebrations in honor of the marriage of Louis Dauphin and Maria Teresa of Spain given on February 23-26, 1745. The structure has a grotto-like appearance, with a carved river god and nymph at the top of the entryway. The structure is rusticated and features terms at each post.
