Description:
Landscape scene showing a view of a river at sunset with several figures, structures, and bundles of commercial goods on its banks. River extends from the foreground into the middle distance, where it curves between two banks populated by several figures. At left, three figures on a canoe approach two others on the shore, while two animals graze nearby. Across the river, three figures stand on a loaded barge with other figures and animals on the bank at right. Thatched structures with another figure visible far right. In the background, billowing clouds comprise a vibrant sunset.
