Description:
Landscape sketch showing a winter view of Horseshoe Falls from the north side of Goat Island. In the foreground at center and left, the cliff edge of Goat Island and several of its cedar trees are visible, covered in snow. In the middle distance, the immense curve of Horseshoe Falls bends from left to right, with the Terrapin Tower visible on its edge at left. The falls produce a tall column of mist at center. In the background, houses and other buildings are visible atop the elevated Canadian bank of the Niagara River.
