Landscape sketch showing a chaotic view of dead and fallen trees, likely at or near Lake Millinocket in Maine. In the foreground at center, several dead, fallen trees lean diagonally against others that are still standing at right. This scene extends into the background, where dead trees at left continue to lean against those at right.
