Description:
Gilded paper fan leaf decorated with chromolithograph scenes of a musical gathering centered on a man with a hurdy-gurdy. Rococo-style gilding frames the scene; verso: a pastoral vignette with gilded strapwork border. Wood handle is carved and pierced with foliate scrolls.
