Description:
Recto: Cain, at left and seen from behind, kneels before an altar upon
which burns his offering of sheafs of corn. Abel is seen at right, in a similar pose, his hands clasped in prayer before his offering of burning lambs. God the Father appears above, extending his arms to indicate rejection of Cain's offering, and acceptance of Abel's.
