Description:
Recto: Christ is shown lying upon a bier. Two angels hold lighted candles near his head. The Virgin kneels beside him and Mary Magdalene by his feet. Other figures surround, bowing their heads in mourning.
Verso: Zeuxis in his studio, painting an image of Helen of Troy. Several nude models pose nearby, one upon a platform. The study of the leg is above, at left. Framing line at left.
