At top, Hercules; inscribed: Francia Bologna. Right between ship and horsemen, inscribed: Tibaldi Bologna. Center: Hercules and Omphale. Omphale teaches Hercules to play flute. Inscribed: Francia Bologna. Bottom row: Virgin holding Child in her lap. Virgin suckling Child. Inscribed: Ludovico Caracci Bologna. Top left: 136; left top corner: 73. Verso: left arm lowered, right hand raised. Muscles marked by figures 1-26; "20" used twice. Their explanations given at left: "1 frontale", ending "27 zigonactico."
