Description:
Recto, left: Figures crowd in dark arched space, lit by a large candle held aloft by a figure in the left foreground. At the center, Christ sits with head bowed and hands tied before him.
Recto, right: In an interior dramatically lit by a large pedestal candle, Christ kneels to washes the feet of his disciples.
Verso: In a large rectangular room or courtyard, Queen Mary lies on her stomach upon a square platform. Her neck is elevated by an execution block, and a man behind her ties her hands. The executioner raises an axe. Two women kneel beside her, and other onlookers surround the platform.
