With this round pinback button the Undergraduate Student Government Association commemorated the homecoming celebration at the University of the District of Columbia in 1995. The pin features yellow lettering against a red background reading “1995 Homecoming / Celebrating Success, Unity and Diversity at U.D.C. / U.S.G.A”.
The button is among more than 200 collected by longtime Anacostia resident and social justice advocate Howard Croft.
