This round pinback button serves as a self-proclamation as a "Compulsive Activist", written in blue against a yellow background. The pin is promoted by the National Women's Political Caucus, whose logo features below the declaration. Founded in 1971, the NWPC is dedicated to increasing women's participation in elected and appointed offices at all levels of government.
The button is among more than 200 collected by Washington, DC-based environmental justice advocate Vernice Miller-Travis.
