This blue on white round pinback button encouraged New Yorkers to elect Margaret Chin for the City Council. Chin first ran and lost in the 1991 elections. She ultimately got a seat in the Council in 2009 and served three terms through 2021.
The button is among more than 200 collected by Washington, DC-based environmental justice advocate Vernice Miller-Travis.
