This round pinback button advocates for healthy and safe communities. The black and white pin features a drawing of a family of four next to a factory with billowing smokestacks. The message is promoted by the National Black Environmental Justice Network, the coalition fighting to end environmental threats that disproportionately affect peoples of color.
The button is among more than 200 collected by Washington, DC-based environmental justice advocate Vernice Miller-Travis.
