Wood splints create a plain weave in this rectangular-shaped, flat-bottomed basket. The splints are brown and light brown in color, and the shape of the basket is tapered upward. Some of the darker splints show differences in coating, reminding the viewer of the gathering and hand-dying steps involved in the basket-making process. The handle is undecorated.
