Items like this were collected from several San Carlos Apache individuals (Peter Morgan, Sabe Muncho, and an unnamed “old blind Apache”) and from Indian agent Wellington Earl Tiffany (1870-1933) in 1919 by Edward H. Davis (1862-1951, a rancher and field collector for MAI) during fieldwork sponsored by MAI.
